Jumping on the diet bandwagon! March 12, 2010 Sophie Boss (London, England) This is a good recipe book but a diet book? Strikes me as a way to sell more books!! Diets are pointless. If you fancy an Italian cook book, then maybe this is a good buy. If you want to lose weight, then I'd give it a miss - if you've done diets before, rather than wasting your time on yet another diet, try something different!
The Italian Diet March 12, 2010 Mrs. J. Pollock An excellent recipe book. No messing about, no scratching around to the find basic ingredients. Delicious food and easy to follow. 'Fantastico' - as the master would say.
The Italian Diet Gino D'acampo March 12, 2010 Mrs. D. Sharpe (Telford UK) What a "fantastico" book. I love it, lovely easy to follow recipes, each page has a recipe and accompanying picture, as I like to see what I am trying to achieve, and an introduction to each recipe, like Gino is talking to you. The introduction to the book by Julliette Kellow a dietician is really useful. New to diet books etc, but it has certainly given me a new perspective on diets and losing weight. I tried the mushroom rissotto first, lovely mmmmmmmmmmm..... Definetly recommend this if you want to know what you can eat, lose weight and enjoy cooking. The Italian Diet
The Italian Diet March 11, 2010 T. Cook (surrey) I dont use cookery books but this is easy to use as you only need to buy one or two extra items to create some great meals. Met the fantastic Gino at a book signing at Bluewater hes a lovely person so make sure you buy his book !!!!
Italian diet March 8, 2010 Lily billy I don't think this book is really good. It's ok but really no different from a normal cookery book. Of course you will lose weight if you keep to small portions in any cuisine, so a little disappointed with the recipes and whole concept.
