I have no complaints just some info- I was expecting it to have only one cable- USB, but it appeared that it has to be plugged to the electricity socket as well which makes it not so mobile as I would like. Also real capacity is 465 GB, not 500.

Seagate Expansions 500GB External Desktop USB 2.0 Hard Drive For a nerd like me this was so easy to install and to use.Happy now I can safely store and easily retrieve the family photos. Even my wife can operate and use this product !!! Good value for money and definitely to be recommended.

This unit has given faultless service since purchase a couple of months ago. Easy set-up. Fits neatly on my desk.
Despite other reviews about noise, there has been no problem at all. So quiet it can hardly be heard when updating and sits totally silently between backup runs.

Had one of these for over a year. Had no problems with it and it works fast and well. I use it with MS Synctoy 2.0 to back up all my photos, files, music and movies. Nice and straight forward to set up, it just works. Brilliantly simple

Does exactly what I would expect.... with very quick read/write access. This has given us a much needed reliable back up for our Video/Music files. Very slick design so looks the part when next to the PC.
