Move it! March 11, 2010 A. J. Ward (UK) I bought this item to transfer stuff from a desktop (XP) to a laptop (Win 7) and I have to say what a load of cods!
Offering me choices of what I wanted to transfer I merrily selected what I wanted and then ran 'Transfer'.
It ended up transferring all sorts of stuff that I didn't want transferred, so I will be 'manually' doing the transfer.
It would seem to me that all is required is a USB/USB cable and you can do it yourself without a 'programme'....or is it me?
computer upgrade March 8, 2010 D. A. Bates (cambridgeshire) Having changed my computer which has Windows 7 installed I bought this item to transfer data from old computer and was very impressed. It was very quick and quite effortless.
belkin easy transfer cable March 6, 2010 crispy (uk) i upgraded my laptop and needed to transfer photos files and email settings, this (use once every five years or so) bit of kit was no bargain but did the job, recommended,
Not so Useful February 28, 2010 Steve Smith The software wasn't bad, but transfer by USB lead is painfully slow, so I ditched the USB lead and did the transfer via my network instead and it worked a lot faster. Question is could I have bought the software or downloaded it for free or cheaper than buying this combination.
Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for Windows 7 February 25, 2010 Mrs. R. Payne (Southampton, UK) Did what it should. Easy and fairly quick to use. Still a bit hazy about what happened to some of the Oulook addresses which should have transferred from the old Oulook (Office Professional 2000)to the new Outlook (in Office Professional 2007) I found most of them in the archive section, mainly really old ones I thought had been deleted and which reappeared on the new system. However, newer ones are still missing - but I'm sure they're probably there somewhere.
All pictures and photos transferred perfectly - as did documents.
Well worth it to save hassle of trying to save vast quantities of data to disc or external hard drive.
