Dead on Arrival February 23, 2010 L. Niculescu (UK) Bought this frame for Xmas. It arrived and I didn't have a chance to try it until I got back from holiday.
Tried turning it on it is DOA. How dissapointing for a new Sony product!
I've also missed the returns window, so now I need to find a way of getting this repaired! Very frustrating.
Birthday Present February 21, 2010 L. Fullerton (Falkirk, Scotland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this item for my mum for her Birthday, not being to good with electrical products this was perfect for her. She said it is simple to use and in fact decided to buy one for her sister overseas as a birthday gift for her.
Sony photo frame February 20, 2010 G. E. Arnold Bought as a present and much appreciated by recipient. Delighted with the performance of it.
Fantastic! February 13, 2010 Senor Contini (Italy) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wow, this is exactly the item I have been searching for for many, many days and weeks. I have been needing a photo frame that will hold all the pictures of my wife and girlfriends, rotating them in clear colour so that they all get equal time. And of course my mother as well - she will very much like to be in the frame. Sony is very good brand and after reading the many reviews I have no hesitation in ordering it at this great price from Amazon. It sounds fantastic - I can't wait to see it in action!
Excellent entry-level frame February 12, 2010 R. Bowes (England) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is the first digital photo frame I have owned. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect at this price, but wanted to "dip my toe in the water" and see if a digital frame would suit me without spending too much. I knew I would prefer a larger screen, but didn't want to pay more for something which I thought might be a nine-day wonder.
Overall I'm pleased with it although the image quality is really quite disappointing. I had a spare SD card, so can view photos from that. It's a shame that a lead to connect it to the PC and transfer images onto the internal memory was not included, but you can copy from the memory card to the internal memory. Only other niggle is that the edge of the frame is not even all the way round, which looks odd to me. The top and bottom edges are the same as one another, as are the left and right, but the sides are wider than the top and bottom.
I think this would be great for a desk as the clock and calendar facilities are very good. The menus give you lots of options for how you want your photos to appear, the slideshow setting has 10 time options ranging from 3 seconds to 24 hours.
I imagine it's one of the best frames you will find at this price and does the job well, but if you really want to make the most of your pictures and can afford to pay more, I would definitely recommend looking for one with a greater resolution.
