Kindle March 14, 2010 Sharraine Dreyer (USA) My husband gave me a Kindle for Valentines Day. (He never was one for flowers) I really love it. This is such an easy way to read. We just returned from a trip to Az. I finished a book and then ordered another while on the road. I do need to purchase a book light so that I can read after dark. However, I like the fact that the screen does not have back lighting like a computer screen, as it would be difficult to read in the sun... I can always find the page I am on and it is light and easy to hold... What a nice product!!!
Greatest purchase of my life!!! March 14, 2010 charlie schenck (pilot point, tx USA) Great product! I love reading books on my kindle 2. Went from reading 2-4 books a month to 2-4 books a week. The amount of great classics available for free is awesome! I love the free interent! I love shopping at 3 in the morning when I cant sleep! I love having all the best sellers at my fingertips for cheaper then I can get at the book store or even walmart!
In short...I love my kindle!!!

Book selection is lacking March 14, 2010 Chris (Atlanta, Ga USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
While the Kindle itself works adequately and the concept of carrying so many books everywhere is appealing, the reality is frustrating. I am continually finding that books I would love to have on Kindle are not available. For example, I wanted to read Tony Hillerman's autobiography but it isn't available on Kindle. There are many books available but it seems if you get far away from the Bestsellers list you are out of luck.
love my kindle March 14, 2010 M. Kellogg (up north) I am very please with my Kindle for now. I have only one thing that I am not happy with. Tell me when will we be able to share or borrow books from other Kindle users like the Barnes and Noble 'Nook'?
My Saving Grace March 14, 2010 Terrie (Atlanta(GA)/NewOrleans(LA), USA) I received this item as a gift and I love it! I enjoy the portability and battery life. For example I have not charged it in almost a week and a half. Leaving the wireless disconnected unless in use is very helpful. I still have much to learn about my Kindle so I cannot say much. But I love the swiftness of the download of the books. It really beats the drive to the bookstore for something they possibly do not have. Only complaint I have thus far is the limited selection of titles. But I inderstand that Amazon is working on it! 4.5/5
